    2.5 pass DFS. Great easy shave with some new Cella product. The Darwin 2 band made easy pickings of the Cella Bio Organic shave cream. Since I'm not usually a tube cream user, I squeezed out about a quarter size into my shave bowl, along with roughly a tablespoon of water. The damp Darwin burst lather quickly (just like Cella Red)....but not familiar with this setup yet, I did add more cream and water, as the lather seemed thin at first. Lather monster now....enough for 3+ passes and got to shaving. The Cella lather held it's consistency in the bowl throughout the 2.5 pass shave (6-7 minutes, nice). It was painted on, has a great cushion and slick. 24 hours of growth swiped away with the Tanifuji straight. Very smooth shaving....this blade holds an edge, only maintained by stropping since I honed back in late June. Followed with the matching Cella SB, then Cella AS. The Cella Bio Organic 'green' labeling is a crisp, fruity, clean, slightly woodsy (fresh) fragrance. Very close to the Fine Fresh Vetiver (for my nose), but on the fruity (sweet) side. Six hours since my shave, still catching small whiffs, and the face feel is quite nice.

    One more shave with the H&S and I'll reluctantly put it aside and return to the SE's. OCtober coming up quickly and then No Repeat November, it probably won't be until Decadent December that it will see another run.

    I really like the Thater. The Proline blades are very similar to the Feather Pro artist club in sharpness and feel.

    Beautiful photo Blair. I have never cared for the scent of regular Cella so your description of the Cella Bio Organic sound very nice. Great job of subtle enabling.

    No, it didn’t. I really enjoyed using it! The weight coupled with the head design really worked for me. I suspect I’ll be using this daily for the rest of the month.
