You guys got me thinking about November. I can do no repeat with soaps, aftershaves and brushes. I fall short on razors. I have a few razors with different baseplates. The Supply with all three baseplates, the Blackbird OC and SB and the Timeless Bronze OC and SB. If I count each one as a different razor I can do it. Kinda a no repeat and kinda not.
Jason, is the Cool scent a take on Floid Blue? I have a sample of the shave soap and like the scent. Haven't used it yet.
I think different base plates count when they fundament change the razor , like the Blackbird and Timeless OC & SB. Not so sure about the Supply, since it's more like an adjustable. Would you consider then the Fatboy as 9 different razors? Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Yes, it is a take on Floid Blue. I like it very much. I don't have Floid, so I can't comment on how close it is, but his Reserve Dupes are often well thought of.
I do something quite similar with November as well, Jim. I can get through a no repeat month with software, but cannot with brushes (only can get half way or so) or razors (almost all the month). I go on a strict rotation with those that month, a day at a time, until all are used and then start from the top again.
I'm in no position to comment, Jim. I just received a new soap and splash today. Just made a decision on what will exit the den stage right. As you probably already know, I'm firmly in the 'one in, one out' camp. Keeps me honest (somewhat...)
Long day, but the mailman delivered a nice package. I Got it! I Got it! I Got it!!! How can a grown man be so excited about a silly old razor??? Oh well... I Got it! I Got it! I Got it!!! Time to break out the Stirling Bay Rum. tp
I saw that in The Haul thread. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I've finished a couple of samples and PIF'ed a soap, razor and brush. That's all that has left my den. Hopefully I'll finish a tub while I'm still able to shave myself.
Seeing your collection of razors, soaps, brushes and aftershaves makes me feel so much better and in control with my acquisition disorders.
