  1. You know, I've been playing with Photoshop since....well, since we used to have to scan film to get the image into PS.....and I've yet to find the 'Polish' tool. Awesome depth to the clarity and shine Jim. Oh, and a great razor and shave!;)

Very nice Terry. Yea....I've dropped the phone/tablet reading the forum and slowly dozing off....too many times. :o Pinaud soap? Off to search.... Great shave Terry!

Nice Perry! Cool razor. Yeah...picking a favorite scent....impossible!

Very nice Clint. Great Bokeh on that image. Might have to try face lathering some more....haven't tried very often. I'm not big on scritch though.

Awesomely vintage look and feel to that shave Fuzzy. Love it.

  2. Thank you Blair. This brush has as much or more scritch than any brush I've tried.

  4. Thank you Blair. It is indeed a very good soap. Lathers nicely , although thirsty at times but great cushion and pretty slick too. Scent is pleasant as well.

  5. Great write up and description. Flying lather...been known to do that. Nice image and shave Jason!

Very cool Gary! Love the razor and brush (and of course the Stirling too!).

Great progress. Irritation bad. Keep at it! As many have said before, a CCS beat any DFS or BBS that ends with irritation.

Great work you are doing. Nice shave and gear of course! Hope things improved and all the doctor related visits keep it all in check.

Great write up Andrew! I still remember exactly where I was standing and watching CNN as it happened. Great Wednesday image of Declan. 'I didn't do it'.

Vintage cool on many levels Joseph! Love the Rubberset. And of course the Feather AC!

  16. After the 1st pass....I've been playing with some soaps every now and then, overloading the brush, or overloading on water, or both, just to see what happens. It's taught me to make better lathers, and to recognize what's going on with the lather. Maybe I should be using the same brush to work through this, but...I'm not that structured. Even with all the playing, I've only broken down a lather to useless a handful of times. I can always start over if that happens. Most soaps (Stirling, PAA, Wholly Kaw and Castle Forbes come to mind from my den) can take a LOT more water than I expect (or I'm just really good at overloading soap and not realizing it).

In my brain, it's learning. It's fun. And it's no big $ (like a razor purchase in comparison). Of course, you'd think it'd help in getting through a puck or tub faster. But...that ain't working for me. Hardly a dent in any of 'em.

  19. The Vector is a dream to shave with, seemingly mild, but highly efficient.

    Enjoy your shaves,
