  3. 24/30.

    Every shave is different huh.....

I must have been very successful at pulling the soap of the puck today. The 1st pass was thick lather and that wasn't good. This soap is thirsty and like that unwanted uncle at your wedding, if its thirsty, its trouble. Cade needs water to be slick. On this 1st pass, the slickness was non existant.

2 and 3 passes were better as i wetter the lather.

Lost a hair again. Thats a dozen so far. I am really honing my brush technique atm. Very little pressure on pick up, lathering or application. I am finding a pasting side-side motion seems to be better than my usual circles. Odd. The light touch is helping my skin though.

    3 passes. 1xdown and 2xATG.
I also chased the baby today and got a BBS-. Perhaps the best i can get with this mild razor and blade. I dunno.
I felt the blade tugging somewhat as well. On checking back in the thread, it was new on sunday, so time for a new one. 4 shaves max for the Rapiras.

Finished with Arko Gold. A great A/S. Not just on scent but it is mild and cooling. Great stuff.
  4. Thanks, Gary!

  5. Can i ask a question?

Is/has/will anyone do the full 30DC using just one set of tools or is it just me?

Do i get some sort of badge or award for this when i have completed it?
  6. I have never said that. My NOS OS soaps are scent-i-liscious.

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Barely noticable alum.

    Have a great day![IMG]
  11. My first three months with the crew I did rules. I've also done a few 30 day focuses.
It'll be worth it in the long run.
  12. Yes, it is worth it. I have learned a bit tbh and i will be doing a post 30DR summary when i eventually finish :sad038:

  17. Hello Thursday and good morning.
First shave with my newly aquried TNNSER 3D razor and a fine shave it was.
Using Stirling Bay Rum for the maiden run, this was a almost perfect shave for me. 2 passes on the face, 2 passes on the head, then a 3rd on the face just because I can. No issues, just shave goodness.
Take a Razorock Black Hawk, make it lighter, then design it to use a less expensive blade. There you have it, a wonderful shaver.
The blade is tedious to load first time, after you figure it out it's easy. Also if you dip the head in water then shake it, the head goes together easier.
The handle looks like it would be a problem, not so for me. The square handle made it easy to get the right position on the skin.
    What would I change, nothing.

The head looks big in the picture but it's not much bigger than a GEM Junior or a MMOC.

    Gotta run
    all
    Enjoy

  19. I would love a go of that razor!

Is the plan for it freely available? Perhaps i could download it and get it made here by somebody with a 3d printer?
