  1. I love You Don't Bring Me Flowers. It was even given a marching band rendition.

  2. My understanding -based on what others have said on other threads on TSD- is that there hasn't been a big announcement. It appears that Bryon has quietly stopped responding on his website.

Gillette NEW LC in Gun-Kote Bronze by Delta Echo Razor Works
    Voskhod Teflon Coated DE (1)

JR #160 Louisville Slugger handle w/Omega 10098 boar knot
    Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood
Alum, Thayers WH, USB, Clubman & Ermenegildo Zegna Uomo EDT

Wow! I had a fantastic shave with some favorite gear this morning. Two glorious passes and a few touch-ups, and everything worked well together. When the angle is right on the NEW LC, I cannot feel the blade at all. The Voskhod blades were extremely smooth as expected. Everything should have a coat of Teflon on it.

JR # 160 is a favorite - a handle made by our very own @Jayaruh from bat wood I obtained at my hometown Louisville Slugger museum (see photo below) paired with a wonderful Omega '98 boar knot. This brush will make lather out of anything, and I had loads of it from the T&H Sandalwood in nothing flat.

In addition to my SOTD photo, I'm showing a photo of the NEW LC prior to its spa treatment. It was a well-loved razor for many years, and it continues to be well-loved in my Den.

I finished up with all the normal stuff except for the EDT. Does it pair well with Clubman? Does anything? The Clubman scent has long since gone (YES!), and I'm left with a very pleasant summertime "aqua" scent from the EDT. It's not a product I'd re-purchase (I got it for a song, so I can't complain), but it's nice enough to use up.

I'm feeling much better today. Thanks, gentlemen, for yesterday's well wishes. I hope you all are having a blessed day.

  7. Razor: Gillette Blue Tip (B3) 1956
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword (3)
Brush: El Druida Barber Pole w/ Manchurian
Soap: Reef Point Soap Classic Barbershop
    Aftershave: Floid Blue
Bowl: The Distinctive Goat Full Ribbed Sinker Bowl

Very mild razor which is the reason I shaved today with it. Very little beard today. Good shave.

  8. Thanks, Jason!
I haven't gone that far with my brush and soap matching. I just check to see if I have something close and I'll use that.

  9. Thanks, Jason! I think you may be right. It just came to me last night to try the twin blade with the Personna and it certainly worked. It was a little difficult to load as the plastic magazine is more flimsy than a metal magazine. But otherwise it worked very well.

  18. Very nice, Charlie. Glad to hear you are feeling well today. That Delta Echo razor is also becoming rarer- looks like they aren't that active anymore, either. North Shore razors is the only place I know of that is doing Cerakote razors still.

  20. I thought for a moment they might be talking about just their GEM collection or maybe his Ever Ready collection.
Not every razor they own. :think002:
