    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Timeless Bronze OC
    Gillette Super Thin Blade

WWB Green Pearl (26mm Maggard SHD Fan, Frigate Class)
Stirling Sharp Dressed Man soap and AS

My last shave with the Timeless Bronze before sending it back home to Jim @jluc . I made sure to get the lather nice and wet in the bowl, which BTW I finally finished off my sample of SDM.

Painted the slick and shiny lather on and got set to go to work with The Beast(Timeless Bronze OC). I loaded a new to me blade, Gillette Super Thin, in the razor because I had seen some questionable reviews and wanted to make sure the blades I got were good before too much time had passed. I'm happy to report that these blades work just fine! Alright, putting the razor to my face I lightened up my grip on the handle and really just tried to wipe away the lather focusing on zero pressure. Best shave with it yet! A nice comfortable IBBS shave with no irritation! I'm smooth, I smell good, and my face feels great. I'm ready to take on the weekend! Have a great day and weekend my friends!

    TGIF!!

  2. No plans as of now, so the usual it may be. Working out at the gym tomorrow morning, my landlord will be here in the afternoon to put up the new soap-dish in the bathroom. Grocery run, of course. Probably will watch some college feetball.

  8. If and when the ENOCH artist club razor arrives, I will let on of the artist club razors go. So that will be one in and one out. I will take a look at some of the others and see what needs to go. I have several razors that I don't use a lot but am reluctant to let go for a variety of reasons.

    Terrific picture of Logan!

Glad you got a good shave from the Bronze OC. It's a heavy son of a gun. Letting the weight of the razor do the work is too much pressure.

  11. Fantastic photo and lineup Andrew. The Timeless is just such a great looking razor.

Logan has grown so much. He is a fine looking young man.

  14. I have him lined up to play feetball at Colorado School of Mines(that is, if he develops a scientific mind by then). Mines is my favorite NCAA Div. 2 team.

  15. No way! If he's going to play it's going to be for CU! Go Buffs!

  17. I don't know what CU is doing in the PAC 12..It's like moving Harvard to the SEC(oh all right, not REALLY, but you kinda get the idea)

  18. Well, this is what I'm talkinabout. And I love how they are called "Mines" :).

  19. I've looked at them, too. Glad to say I'm satisfied with the texture and size of my two suribachi bowls. That unglazed rough textured surface does everything I want, except look cool like a SP.
Humm, if I take you up on that I'll have to abandon the Palmolive stick (X 2) & ARKO stick (X 2) restock, along with the La Toja stick (X 2) and Speick & travel case. Then there's the Wickham 1912 Russian Leather SS... Somewhere in the open tabs is that Maggard SHD 2 band that got this started. I hadn't decided on flat top or bulb.
Arrgh! Time to break out the Egyptian Maths. I'm thinking the ceramic Mitchell's soap tub is something I want. When I do a refill if I ever finish a soap since it hasn't happened yet, the Kent will be a good choice since it will... umm ...somewhere way back in this conversation was the idea of saving money!
