    I think the OC plate is more suited to shaving several days growth, whereas the bar plate is suited to daily shaves.

    Blade - CVS Carbon SE
    Soap - Stirling Satsuma
    Brush - Jayaruh #46
    Post - Alum

    I'm tired. I'll freely admit it. It's been physically and mentally straining here for several weeks but I'm still on my feet and making things happen. I have an early morning appointment with an MRI machine tomorrow to take a look at my pancreas and assorted other inner systems. We'll see what that looks like and how many doctors shriek with terror when they see what's in there. I skipped the shave last night but didn't want to miss another one. Besides, a good way to relax and let off some tension after the day.

    The Shovelhead comes back for its second shave with the Carbon blade and I went with the JR46 and Stirling Satsuma. Great mandarin orange scent with some oriental spices. I bought this one just on a hunch it would be awesome. And it is. Great lather, three nice, slow passes to provide an extremely noisy shave with two days growth, but an extremely smooth and close shave as well. Made my day fully complete. Now to try and get some sleep before listening to magnets for an hour in the morning. It's been a few years since I've been in an MRI. I don't hate them. I can just think of better places to be. Have a great Saturday and a fantastic weekend!!
