Congratulations. They are very addictive but I found the Streamline to be a bit of a beast initially, now it's my favourite from that stable.

Stirling SEptember!!! September 13 Razor - Ever Ready Shovelhead Blade - CVS Carbon SE Soap - Stirling Satsuma Brush - Jayaruh #46 Post - Alum I'm tired. I'll freely admit it. It's been physically and mentally straining here for several weeks but I'm still on my feet and making things happen. I have an early morning appointment with an MRI machine tomorrow to take a look at my pancreas and assorted other inner systems. We'll see what that looks like and how many doctors shriek with terror when they see what's in there. I skipped the shave last night but didn't want to miss another one. Besides, a good way to relax and let off some tension after the day. The Shovelhead comes back for its second shave with the Carbon blade and I went with the JR46 and Stirling Satsuma. Great mandarin orange scent with some oriental spices. I bought this one just on a hunch it would be awesome. And it is. Great lather, three nice, slow passes to provide an extremely noisy shave with two days growth, but an extremely smooth and close shave as well. Made my day fully complete. Now to try and get some sleep before listening to magnets for an hour in the morning. It's been a few years since I've been in an MRI. I don't hate them. I can just think of better places to be. Have a great Saturday and a fantastic weekend!!

Was not particularly needing a shave today, due to having a nice 3 pass shave with Arko the day before. But, I just wanted to. Lathered some Proraso White and did only 2 passes with the ol Ming Shi setting 4. Nicked my Adam’s apple and got a few neck weepers. Not a super comfy shave today. Quite disappointing. I am theorizing whether or not it’s the Proraso’s fault. I always seem to be let down with the White Proraso. I don’t feel it gives me the best lubrication, ironically enough it’s for sensitive skin. Perhaps I am putting too much water into it, as usually it’s runnier than I’d like. I may experiment with it in the coming weeks to get it right. I don’t want to say anything bad about it, perhaps it’s inexperience with the product (I typically prefer puck soaps). But we shall see.

Saturday Straights' Shave Cold Water Rinse Cella Crema Da Barba Jayaruh #206 Dubl Duck 5/8 CWR Cella After Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Crema Da Barba face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the Dubl Duck 5/8 razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
