Thanks for the warm welcome! My name is Daniel. I'm occasionally getting irritation with areas where hair grows in multiple directions. I'm not aiming for BBS, but i guess i'm still buffing too much and possibly using too much pressure.
My issue with buffing (what I did wrong) I did short hard fast strokes when short light slow strokes is the way. My soap was to thin, if I make a pass with the razor and there's no slickness afterwards, that will cause issues. Always make sure to re-lather before another pass. Even if I have a little tiny spot that I missed, at minimum I take a finger of lather to that area before the razor touches it. Ride the cap, I noticed That I pulled the handle down, instead of up when buffing. Hope this helps. tp
Very solid build. I have a big scuttle from her too. The closest I will come to bowl lathering . I live in an apartment...do the math. As long as just loading the brush to face lather...
thank you sir..shaves like all the other flat bottoms...i just have an obsession with brit flat bottom techs..and others..
thank you Joe..is my favorite stirling scent at present..gentleman being a close second, but i have sandpiper on the way..i love my ysl la nuit de l'homme edt..
Thanks for the advise! I think my lathers have improved a lot after i switched to face lathering. I lather between passes (WTG&XTG), on the second pass my lather is thinner but possibly slightly slicker. Next time i'll squeeze the leftover lather to my hand and dab that to my face if i need to do some touch ups. I'm actually riding the cap, but i'm going to pay even more attention to the angle. I might have had a bit less irritation with carbon steel blades, but i'm not 100% sure about that.
thank you Blair..having tons of fun..this could go on for ages .if you gents get tired of it let me know..
