  3. Your foot vs. my Bride. I've got $10 to win on her. Easy money for me, and you should be upright and off light duty in a couple of weeks. :happy102:
  4. Very nice shave. Love the hardware and software. 4 days? I’m too scraggly at that point. Wifey and daughters start asking when I’m going to shave again after 2 days. Great progress on using longer strokes!

  5. Busy day. Hope some rest is in the near future. Shaving is a great refresher for me also. Great shave. Prayers that all turns out well.

Nice shave Patrick. Need to try the Nivea, it’s on nearly every retail shaving shelf I see.

Nice shave Rick. Thanks for the Amazon link. Time saving enabling.

Thanks, Terry. One of the longest stretches between shaves in over 5 years. Before that, I used to shave about once a week, and scruffy was my middle-name.
Love me some Bonaparte. Keep the faith, Neal.
...with a "New York state of mind" attitude, Joe. :)
One of my worst cuts was from the notoriously "mild" AS-D2...
That must be some "north of the border" thing.
  7. Thank you, Blair. Can't always use the long strokes. When the stubble is so short, that technique---at least for me, doesn't cut it...see what I did there? :happy097:

    Stirling SEptember

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day. Three passes for near BBS. A bit of warmth from the alum.

    Have a great Sunday!

  15. Good Sunday morning to all.
Took this weekend off, needed some down time, might clean out the car and mow some grass today, maybe. Not gonna work hard or have a day trip. Just relax for another day.
Went for a nice shave with my Razorock Blackhawk and a Feather blade, nice, smooth. 2 passes on the face and 2 passes on the head, clean as a 2 pass shave can be. Took off a small thing on the head, didn't bleed much, can't feel it anymore. I get them when I deal with a certain type of board at work. My razors deal with them at home.

Found a Burma Shave mug last week at an antiques store, after the price was decided on, it went home with me. The original brush and soap was with it but considering the condition, I found a new Burma Shave brush for it. Feels and smells like a boar brush, somewhat anyway.
Needs broken in, in a big way. Lost a few bristles this time.

My used blade tin is full, after about 5 months. Well four and a half.

I figured it would last more than a year, wrong. Can't keep it closed, gotta start a new one. The GEM SE blades fill it up quickly. Boy do they look ugly, man oh man.

    Anyway....
Ready for a nice warm sunny day in the woods.
    To all
    Enjoy

So much for every fourth day of shaving.

This shave bears zero resemblance to the SE focus of this month.
    Single Edge...nope.
    Stirling...nope.
    Great shave...check. :)
Found a gorgeous case and a NOS sealed pack of the correct blades for my D3 Adjustable.
    Sweet.
I have been focusing on using my creams more. With such a ridiculously, large soap rotation,
these are the products that will have the shortest shelf-life. So you will be seeing Primo use creams

for almost all of my shaves for a while.
The Proraso is so good. The scent is so refreshing. I never tire of using it.
Just a small dab will create a huge amount of luscious lather.
Naturally, I used too much, so I wound up with an Aesop bowl filled to the rim...wait for it...
    WITH BRIM! :happy102:
The Feather blade, while removing the stubble, was rather harsh and crude in its manner,
so as punishment, it was banned to the bin.
A couple of spots on my lower neck were the victims of the blade. Small weepers and
a tad bit of irritation. Bad Feather...:rolleyes005:
The Fatboy was set to 5. I know, Fuzzy, I know.

In truth, yesterday's shave was so great, I didn't need to shave today.
The Proraso Dopobarba tingled and refreshed.
  19. Now that's one good looking razor Jim.
    Nice, very very, nice!
    Great Sunday morning shave.
