good morning gentlemen,sunday shave..no color gimmicks today,just simple..brit #15 oc aristocrat in rhodium,spoiler blade.builta wonderful stirling lather with the omega boar/crystal bowl, and got a fantastic 2 combination pass bbs with no drama..very minor pick ups in the usual lower neck area..fine platinum to finish..awesome..have a great rest of the day everyone..

Ah, the VDH razor, have to find mine some day. Never had to bloom any Razorock soaps. If you like Old Spice, try Stirling Spice.
Proof you can have a great shave, even with a so so razor.

Love that shave Clint.
I am a skin latherer because it feels so good. That blade makes any razor preform at its peak. Also will give a nip if your not attentive.

Maybe a cream that helps calm a rash if your sensitive to the soap.

Thanks Terry! Like I stated, I bloom easy lathering soaps to use the bloom water as a preshave. I have too many soaps, but Stirling Spice is already on my list. The VDH is the razor that no one likes or wants, but it does give a nice shave.

 

Is the VDH razor pretty much the same as Weishi 9306? I have one of those and it seems to be a decent razor.
