I should have known. I forgot to touch this one up. I looked back, and it gave me issues, in the past. It is definitely in the touch-up pile now. I had a so-so shave, that left me with a DFS, but not what I like for smoothness, on the first pass. Silky smooth 2nd pass, ATG.

It's Menthol Monday! Soap of the day is Stirling Black Ice, the soap you want to eat (if you like black licorice). Great menthol kick on this one with that awesome scent and the Wolf Whiskers badger brush had no issues at all. Second day on the OCMM and it turned from the smooth and highly efficient tool to the beast today. Not really the razor's fault, though. I didn't set the blade in right and ended up with a scrape and a cut on my right jawline on the second stroke. I felt the roughness on the first stroke but just tried to adjust angle on the second. With the blade on top of the corner guards instead of in them - you don't get a smooth shave. Fixed it and completed two full passes and some touch up for a very nice high level DFS. Good enough.

Still in the 90's around here. August in September. That's ok. Makes Menthol Monday that much more appropriate. Have a great Tuesday!!

I agree! It is a great scent that has some nice staying power.

Hey Paul! I believe there may be some bentinite clay at the end of ingredients but is not enough to negatively effect the shave.

Wet The Face Autumn for todays soap of choice.

Love the scent of this one, it is a spicy apple cinnamon scent but is very well done and different from most other scents of this type.


Performance is excellent making this one of the "Underrated" artisans that rarely gets mentioned on the fourms. Whipped up a thick lather that provided plenty of protection. Managed a DFS with no irritation. Finished off with stirling Haverford.

i build scale models of race cars and such..old hobby dating back 40+ years,but this bike came with kit i got some time ago..it's just well detailed..but i like cool stuff and i am a car guy.gearhead ,petrol head.. etc..i have also built many full size street cars and hotrod trucks ..sorry for the ramble..
