  1. Nope I sure didn't. I suppose you're going to tell me that polished vectors are in stock too?

  2. I've been paying attention to blade angle and I do think that's part of my problem. It's been better, but still needs some work. I am somewhat certain I am using too much pressure.

  3. Thanks for the clarification, Dale! I had cut my the medial nerve on my left hand 40 plus years ago. Thank God, I am a righty. Recently, my hand has improved ever since I started using it for straight shaving and working out with weights. I am not a doctor, but I would suggest that you use your hand to facilitate healing. Luckily, you didn't cut the nerve like me, so I believe yoh will have a complete recovery.

  4. No they're not in stock. They are in production and the sale is for pre-orders.

  5. Well, maybe you should sent me the details in a PM, just for good measure!

  7. Thank you, Blair!

Try some Soap Commander. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They have samples. Really great soap.

We really enjoy this exhibition. It's called the Showcase of Bands. It's terrific to see the various bands from our district. You might play one or two schools in football, but that's not a guarantee. The smallest band is about 55-60 kids and the largest band has about 240, so it's enormous contrast.

  8. Blair, I've walked alongside my Bride on several preps, so I had some idea of what to expect. She's taken wonderful care of me today. I have lemon Jello running out of my ears. :) She'll go with me tomorrow, and we hope to go out for a nice breakfast afterward. That may sound presumptuous, but we went to Bob Evans for breakfast after her last go round, and she did OK. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Out of curiosity, I decided to log my calories and exercise today. I'm shooting for the high side of "normal" between now and midnight. When it's your turn, I'm sure you'll do great! If your Bride is like mine, she won't let you back out. :)

Congrats on picking up the T&H! It's terrific, and I think you'll love it! If it makes you feel any better, I loaded up a Stirling cart today of different bath and shampoo soaps and a couple of pucks of Executive Man Shave Soap. Thanks to @NCoxSTL's generosity at the meet up, I have a gift certificate. And I'm using the @jluc method of ordering...keep adding products to the cart until I get free shipping. :) I'll noodle on my order over the next day or two to see if I want to make any changes before pulling the trigger.

I've always wanted to try some artisan bath and shampoo soaps. I included the shave pucks for me and a young guy that I want to help get started. I have already offered him one of my Techs, and I'll throw in a few blades as well. The only thing he'll need to eventually get on his own is a brush, and I'll suggest one or two for him to consider. I figure he'll start initially with canned foam while he decides on a brush.

I hope you're having a great week and are rested up from the weekend!

  9. Build a MAYhem tool yet?
Beautiful Greens, Jim. One person's Chevette is another's Corvette...
Love the Baker Street! Just an awesome scent, Jim. Great minds on the Hawk today as well...
    Good luck tomorrow, Charlie!
I have a couple of tins that I swear have the bottom ring varnished...they just do not show reduction like they should, imho...
Love your new photo styles, Perry! That O clone is a nice looking shaver as well.
Sounds like a great shave, Clint!
    Excellent shave and pic, Daniel!
Love the Colonia, and What a Knot!
Your pics these past few weeks have been simply amazing, Gary!
Still from the bike ride, Dale?
    Great looking combo, Joseph!
Agree with the APShaveCo comments, Doug!
    Love your Karve combos, Jeff!
Love that Zenith, Blair! Finally pulled a Zenith from its handle...need to get it in one.

  12. It seems ridiculous to spend 5 bucks for shipping when all you need to do is spend another 50 or 60 bucks to get it for free!

Been there, done that and I'm sure I'll do it again.

  14. I don't shave if there's not coffee involved first. It's always a good time for coffee! Sounds like a very nice shave indeed, even with the slight mistake. Love the gear choice as well as the black and white image!

Incredibly awesomeness Mark. Image, angles, reflection...ooohhh, the gear is really cool too :) !

Very nice Gary! Love the image and the Canadian SC.

Available light earthy tones. Really cool Jason. Nice posing of the gear!

  16. Thanks, Jason!

Haverford is a really dark brown soap so I pair it with the brown synthetic knot. Happy coincidence that the handle is green.

Speaking of soaps that are potentially brush stainers, I've really been eyeing B&M Lavanille. IIRC you had that one but I don't remember your thoughts on it.

  17. Is this the event where the announcer says "Is your band ready?"(you showed us a few photos from last year).

  18. Hmm....silly forum software....could've sworn I had caught this one with the Quote option earlier. Great setup and shave Clint!

All y'all (how's that from a Texas accent) and these shiny SEs (yeah, this September SE thing didn't help), along with Blacklands 'pre order' sale. Pulled the trigger. Will Power assimilation complete. Darn good thing Oneblade ain't having no sale!:happy102: And....to top it off, PAA has started adding CK6 versions in stick form. Somebody take my keyboard away!

  20. Paul, it certainly is. The announcer asks that and then the drum majors salute. Then they climb the podiums and get the band started.
