I'll look forward to your report on it. And then, as I recall from last year, someone in the stands said "GREAT JOB!"....I thought it might have been you complimenting your band.

What did you get, Blair? Vector? Sabre? Blackbird? All three?!
Congrats whatever you did get and I'm sure your Dart will be happy to have a brother or three in the den.

When i wake up, i'll have to brew coffee first thing in the morning. Couldn't even consider doing anything else before getting some caffeine. :eatdrink013:
    Thanks!

I may have missed something along the way. Straight? DE? SE? Any tool and that mistake is no fun. I did it long ago with a DE on my cheek. Did it back June or July with a straight on my neck. Getting that semi angle on any neck pass with a DE/SE just takes (for me) moving the handle to be inline with the angle of path movement. With a straight, it's somewhat precarious due to blade size. I do it better with a kami. With a traditional straight, it's all hands on deck, eyes front, brain engaged, deliberate movements, all while watching/feeling that blade so it is entirely angle move, and no side move.

Good luck with the "oscopy" tomorrow. I don't care for jello, thus I had most of the other recommendations(soup, popsicles, black coffee, water,, clear liquids). I suppose it's about time I call for my next one.

It was just a disposeABLE. That's a straight, right?

Just saw this. Notice how the blade is not completely inserted? This could have caused my chin mishap.

Polished Vector. No Stand. Been wanting one since February, and the sale just pushed me over the edge.
I've got 2 vices left. Caffeine. Adrenaline junkie. Nothing else. It's all I need, and they go very well together.
Alkyhol. Nada. Smoke. Zilcho. Other chemical imbibing activities. Zero.
Caffeine drip......thought about it! Cause ya do.......

I just don't know what they call it, other than disposeABLE. I should read the "fine print".

Congrats, Blair! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I wish I had had the patience to wait for the polished Vector.

Thank you, Andrew. Is this what they refer to as a "shavette-fu"?

That is a very nice classic SE shave. Well wishes for that hand numbness. Like Joe suggested, keep working it. I flipped my right ring finger back to my arm in my early 30s in a nasty accident while windsurfing. Hauling tail and having fun right up to the point of impact. Extremely short version, no surgery, only a year physical therapy (it was self administered, with orthopedic checkups every 4 months), and now.....a finger that after the accident could only be in a fist position, now has full motion, strength and feeling again. And it doesn't predict the weather!

Very cool shave Joseph. Great report. I don't count shaves with my AC blades either. When their done, it's noticeable, and I just flip 'em. Sometimes I just have to stop before a blade set down....I see the angle....think....HEY....that's wrong, get it right or get ready for the alum!

Nice shave! Love the outdoors image.

This week I began skipping a day between shaves. I do really enjoy shaving, but there is something to say about allowing the whiskers to grow a bit before lopping them off. Maybe just the difference between scruffy and dolphin smooth. Idk, but I'm diggin it. I ran through my stirling collection, so i started on my kworks, beginning with tampa shave company mango and lime. I'm using the branded copy, tsc calls chrome shorty. It's a fairly aggressive razor. I know it plows down my two days growth.
Next I used my other kworks offering Not Your Mothers Lavender. For a perfumy scent, I like it. (But I really like lavender scents).
    Discussion points,
    1) anybody know the name brand this was copied from?
    2) Lavender, soo nice.
    3) skipping a day, do y'all get smashing results.
Alright enough rambling, here's a pic with both shaves elements. 20190917_175828_resized.jpg HOPE y'all did as well, or better.
