  1. Y'knowq, I read that the Lavender scent was originally meant for men.

  2. I like that silver brush, but i don't like to get caught in the reflection. Lol
Might mess up our PG rating.

  3. Caffeine and possibly the other chemicals are mine, if meds count. Don't like being drunk, even though i might enjoy a good beer occasionally. I quit smoking a few years ago.

  4. I really like the Lavanille, Jim. I find it quite complex, but it works for me.

  5. I believe that is a clone of the Bevel razor. Yaqi also sells a version of this head.

  7. Great looking gear, David!

    1) I have no idea.

    2) Lavender is a favorite of mine.

    3) Daily shaving for me. After about 30 hrs the whiskers on my neck feel like they're digging back in. I hated shaving enough that I dealt with it. Since I have gotten into the habit of shaving daily when I do skip a day that neck stubble seems way more irritating than I remember it being in the past.

  8. Thanks, Jason.
B&M has a fall scent coming out that I'm interested in. I may just have to add Lavanille to the order, you know, to get free shipping.

  9. I'm using a sample of Stirling Bergamot Lavender bath soap. The lavender component is very earthy and peppery and not really floral in any regards

  10. THAT would do it. Ouch!

If I hadn't gotten addicted to kamisoris and straights, I would have been assimilated long ago on the Blackland Polished Vector. It was a toss up back when I purchased the Dart, but $ sense won that argument...then.

I find skipping a day sometimes helps me get a closer shave, or so it feels. Wifey not a fan though. However, I'm getting close to matching that feeling nearly every day now, as I have been working towards that with technique. Neat razor and software!

  11. :signs011: Read it too. No idea though. Of course, it's the internet, so it must be true!

Have asthma meds (as needed, not regular). Caffeine helps the condition. I like an occasional drink concoction/wine (especially Ports) myself, but last 5 years, not worth it. Instant headache/migraine. Tried all sorts of variety, just to see what might be the culprit. Haven't nailed it down. Two weeks ago, 23rd anniversary dinner, top shelf margarita (which usually is not a problem)....stinking headache within 30 minutes. Argh.:angry032:

  12. Oh Neil, how I love that razor, once you get it tuned. It can be shave heaven, the most smoth, close shave. Haven't tried Stirling Port-au-Prince mutton tallow yet, but when funds are avalible....
Shaving with that Micromatic makes a great shave any day.

  14. Hey Jim, sorry to hear about the poor quality shave. I always get a great shave from my OCMM. I do use a new blade each and every time. That brush blew out my android screen, beautiful.

  15. Might be better to skip the drinks then. I have regular meds for epilepsy. Occasionally i might have to take something for anxiety as well

  17. Good man.
I have done the one pass for the same reason, many times. Sometimes when you go to hard, a slight break is warranted.
That makes for a great shave Daniel.
