Thank you gentlemen, and Jim I think the guy who had the bacon wrapped pepper just might be regretting it already. Since I work out of town so much, and drive to all the jobs, I started to bring a grill with me. its way better than fast food and not much different on the price either.

The weather's getting colder there? What sort of wizardry is this?! Still mid 90's in the Lou. In mid September.

Thanks Terry! The Rocky brush is really an awesome one, indeed! It was my very first brush and at the time, I did not realize that it was a good brush. I am very fortunate that I like all my brushes, razors and soaps.

David excellent post, shave and pic. As far as shaving frequency, it is dependent on your job, beard type and growth rate, skin sensitivity and most importantly, shaving technique. Personally, I usually can wait 36 to 42 hours before I need to shave when using a straight and it is less time with a safety shave.

I agree. I will go the minimum amount to avoid shipping. I know it is a marketing strategy to get you to buy more stuff, but if I want or need the items than I am all in to avoid shipping fees.

This is the other razor in the reset. Worked well. I am really liking the scent of the soap , the balm is just for fragrance and moisturizing. Don't actually need the balm, Shark SC treats me right. Working on a few things, job interview went well. Other than that...all is quiet in North Alabama.

Have a great evening and a pleasant Wednesday!

And I fall another 270 pages behind.

Here is catch up on my sharpness feeling test.

Atlas: She is a near wedge Jwest 6/8 razor, smooth and sharp

    Koraat 7/8 half hollow

Koratt 8/8 double bellied hollow, feels like a 1/4 hollow when I shave with it.

2011 Mühle R41 with a new Gillette Super Blue

First two passes: The Atlas and the half hollow Koraat felt just smooth, the double bellied hollow blade felt sharp and smooth, just not as smooth as the other straights. The R41 felt sharp, it feel like it is on the edge of flexing but it does not. In conclusion the R41 gives the sharpest feel followed by the double bellied hollow blade. The other two straights just feel smooth.

ATG on the chin and upper lip: For me the easy with the blades go through the toughest stubble is my measure of true sharpness. Here the winner was the double bellied hollow Koraat, like a laser, the other three razors tied for sharpness.

Terry, your Electric Sheep is mutton tallow. It'll lather every bit as well as Port au Prince...... And...... You won't smell like you're taking a dirt nap....... And........ The skeeters don't like it.
