    Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
    Soap: Stirling Sandpiper
    Razor: Vintage Gillette NEW Short Comb
    Blade: Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus (2)
    Brush: Elite Razor Manchurian White-24mmx50mm
    Aftershave: Stirling Sandpiper w/Menthol

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    Stirling Sandpiper today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave.

    Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
    Brush:- Muhle Synth. v2.0 Silvertip Fibre Faux Horn 25/60mm knot
    Soap/Cream:- Stirling Soaps ~ Tea Tree (sample)
    Razor/Blade:- Rockwell 6s R6 / Vintage NOS England Wilkinson Sword #2
    Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
    Fragrance:- Davidoff Cool Water Wave

    Wednesday SEptember 18th SOTD

    An interesting and mostly relaxing shave this morning after working the night shift. I never really got the hang of the original Focus Dynamic but acquired the new stainless steel one from a fellow forum member and thought I'd give it a try. Not the smoothest 3 pass shave but I had about 3 days growth with a new 1/2 Feather blade. You also have to train yourself to apply pressure on the back of the plate... Very different shave no doubt. I'll see how things go tomorrow. Happy Hump Day all.

    I’m still getting excellent performance from this Gillette blade - let’s see if it’ll continue for the rest of the week. This Chapmunk soap, like every other one from South Africa that I have gives me such wonderful lather, that spearmint scent is so nice, and its postshave feeling is great thanks to the chamomile in it. The Fino balm is unscented and it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing. I finished off a tube of it after this shave but I have a brand new one which my dear friend Dave sent me not too long ago. The Proraso Red aftershave smells gorgeous - the sandalwood scent is so exotic. An awesome three pass BBS shave which was so enjoyable!
