Defiance I am starting to get my touch back with the Vision. I disassembled and cleaned it yesterday and it worked like a dream today. I was able to do three passes wide open with a very light touch and it felt great. Two small weepers appeared after I applied the splash, but no irritation along with it. The jelly was a nice finishing touch and it's scent does not clash too much with Defiance. Glad you're enjoying it amigo. The Reserve is interesting. I feel as though the Seville in the glissant base provides a creamier and slightly denser lather whilst the Seville in reserve not so much but, counters with glide and residual slickness that to my perception is a notch ahead of the glissant base. Either way they are both excellent performers and the spicy Barbershop take is intoxicatingly good. Good shaves to you Primo....
Thursday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Gillette day 6 RVT Frosty Bay Rum SS Prep ASB Krampert’s Bay Rum AS Splash Oscar Pour Lui EdT This Frosty Bay Rum soap has such a gorgeous scent - in fact I think it’s one of the most delightful bay rum scents I’ve ever experienced since I’ve been shaving. Not only that, it delivered tons of some of the best lather a guy could want as well as its nice menthol sensation and its great postshave feeling. The Prep was the perfect choice of a balm and the Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave also smells awesome. The wife loves the Oscar on me. Three passes did the job for me - not even a professional barber could have shaved me better than this!
SOTD Thursday My new Semogue boar brush was a pleasure to use. I realize you just cant beat a good boar brush. And this TOBS Lavender shave cream is a real peach. I put a Derby Premium in my gold Fat Handle Tech. Overall a nice combination and a great shave.
