  1. I actually really like the Spartan. Alox models look really good too.

  2. Load the blade on the cap,
    put the base on the cap,
    With your cap resting on your thumb, squeeze the baseplate down with your index and fore finger.
    tighten screw.

    Mastery may be a thing, but life's a learning process. That's something we do share here - triumphs and trials. Should you choose to take up a SE there are lots of coaches with tips and tricks. If you've seen Fuzzy @wchnu around he's a Champion on Single Edge razors. Even has his own website across the street - theoriginalsafety2.com. Quite a few TSD members have dual citizenship.
    Sorry it was a disappointment. Just calling it shave soap doesn't make it good. Now I hear they moved production up north? No reason to suffer if it's not even local.

  6. Did it again, exactly like that and got very uneven exposure. I usually have to mess with the alignment for a while to get it right.
