  10. Doing a few "can" shaves until the "heat spell" calms down(should be Tuesday of next week). My next soap shave will be the long-unused Burma Shave cake. It must be quite thirsty by now. I look forward to giving it a good workout.

  13. Nice!

Do you have post shave product angst with this set up?

Gel first and then balm followed by AS, or AS first, followed by Gel and then balm, or Balm first, then the gel, and AS or are you supposed to just use either the AS or the Balm, or the Gel on its own, or just two of the 3, and if so, is the AS non optional meaning that you use the AS first and then follow up with just the gel or the balm, but not both?
Wait, where is the AS? Is the Gel the AS? :shocked029:

  14. Gel, well-massaged, followed by the balm. I reserve my considerable angst for non-shaving situations.

  15. Great looking photo Daniel. Congrats on the continued progress.

Wonderful looking razor Danny. A soap worse than Williams. Wow.

    Lovely shave and photo Gary.

  17. I don't think we're quite even, I'm still on the lookout for a Timeless Bronze, but I'll try to pick that one up on the second hand market.

  18. I concur.
It is AS first as this sanitises and tones the skin post-shave and then balm afterwards to nourish the skin and moisturise.
However i always have this sneaky feeling that the manufacturers of balms and gels intend either to do both thus negating the other.
