I always apply the aftershave before I use the post shave balm. If I use witchhazel, then it precedes everything else.
Nice shave and sorry about the ear getting in the way of the blade, Jason. Ear cuts take forever to stop bleeding, yikes!
Jim, you are not supposed to see it (neck) when shaving your neck. Lol! Ok, you can use 2 mirrors until you get the feel for it.
Thank you Jason. I’ve avoided pulling the trigger on 3 different CH2 synthetic brushes Simpson has up in their website. I wish they would sell already before I wear down. It might be a scratch on the table. I hope I didn’t do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To my nose the Sicilia and Cubebe are very similar. I am curious about the Sardegna. The scent profile looks like something I would enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m guilty of the using spreadsheets to keep up with not only soap usage but also razor and brush usage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks guys. I use my off-hand to pull up the little bit of hair hanging down on my neck in the back. This also stretches the skin. With the razor in the other hand, I do a few S-N strokes and stop just below the natural hair line. The hair that hangs down and touches my neck covers any jagged hair lines across my neck that I might create. It seems to work OK, and it's helpful since I go 5 to 6 weeks between haircuts. I use whatever razor on my neck that I had been using on my face..DE, SE, or Trac II. I haven't mustered up the courage to try a shavette yet. When I use a shavette, I just grab my electric razor for a quick back-of-the-neck trim. It drives me nuts to go more than a few days without some kind of trim back there.
Sept 19 Good afternoon guys! Gillette A4 Rockwell DE (2) Cremo Sandalwood Old Spice P&G AS Nivea Men's ASB I used the same lineup from last night's headshave for today's face shave. The only difference is that I used my RedTip. OK, I am still impressed with Cremo. I got a great shave without any irritation or cuts. The only negative about this product is that the scent is very faint, but that's not a deal breaker to me. I am glad that I took a chance with it. The RedTip performed better than usual with Cremo. I will primarily use this product for headshaves. I will face shave with Cremo when I am not in the mood (rare) to use my straight or shavette, but want a quick and easy shave. Finished with Old Spice AS and then with the Nivea ASB. Have a great day, guys!
Awesome shave and the Jaws looks like and sounds like a winner. That new shave bowl is fit for a viking....does a viking shave....I don't know. If he does he would use that bowl!
