Nah, there’s no scratch, Clint. Just joking that you’d send me the table... I love that Cherrywood as you know. PS- Wise move avoiding the new CH2s...that Copper Ice one isn’t stunning at all. At least there is only one left.
Oh I checked when I got home. I wanted to make sure I didn't scratch it taking photos. Happy Wife and all.
There are many people who use lapping films to hone razors. An inexpensive way to get into honing and it works.
In graduate school I had an Indian roommate, he was an excellent cook and being poor students we ate dal regularly. He was such I good roommate I passed him on to my brother when my girlfriend moved in. We are still friends today and this summer I was able to meet him with his family and my brother in England.
I'm going to do some serious blooming to the thirsty Burma Shave cake soap to prepare it for next week. Ah mean, Ah AM the VEEP, knowwhuddamean?
When did we start discounting the embarrassment value of the CT??? He totally rocks the frock though! At least, for an engineer.
I always thought Shemp was related to George Burns...er BOINS. Quite similar voices. Shemp looked more like Burns than his real brothers-Moe and Curly.
Today I decided that my @jtspartan handle so outclasses my omega boar knot that I’m going to have to transplant something better into it. When it comes to boar, it’s Semogue or nothing for me at this point. The den reduction (also known as “curation of only the finest shave pieces”) continues...
2/3ds of the way into the month and "Hey, it's my shave" continues to hold a commanding lead of 20%. Is it time to project a winner? Ah, I'll wait to see what happens next week.
Gotta toss a couple innocuous ones out there and get folks complacent. I haven't seen it happen, but there's a rumor a CT can be changed.
Technique Trumps Tools - wait - have I said that before? Except when the tool is defective. As in, many Chinese blades. I still prefer Russian steel but, yes, any reasonably quality made blade is just fine. We all have our favorites but once you master the tools the specifics become less important. No doubt about it.
You're welcome. I hope you saw the post I wrote for you a few weeks back showing an Ice-cream man digging scoops out with a spoon in each hand, and then tossing them into the air and juggling them with each spoon. I thought "Naaaaaaah, that can't be HIM".
Stirling Single Edge Shavette September Stirling Dunshire soap, on the Max Headroom List of Most Glorious Stanks to be sure. Stirling Badger, awesome Focus R28 Slim Al, a very nice replaceable blade edge forward shaving device. Nice Shaver. I grab this sometimes when I am pressed for time. Spritz of isopropyl, simple towel pat, put it away. Stirling Dunshire AS & EdT. The Stirling rendition of Acqua do Gio. Good to go.
