I only wish my Bride and her Dear Aunt recognized me as the pot stirrer. They had me running the grill out in full sun this afternoon while they stirred the pots and played cards inside. All the veggies came from our weekly share from the community garden. I forgot to include the cherry tomatoes and the grilled onions in the photo. We washed it all down with iced tea. I'm still full, but I could make room for ice cream if we had any in the fridge.
Grilled veggies are so good! My favorite is red roasted garlic potatoes! I know, I know, too much starch, but at least I am increasing my potassium and sodium levels with each bite!
Thanks guys. We had a great time this evening, and nobody left hungry. I was relatively well-behaved. I removed the skin from the chicken, skipped the bread, didn't top anything with butter (except the squash which also had some brown sugar), and had unsweetened iced tea. Dale, I'm right there with you on the Butternut squash. I love it. Salt and pepper would have been a better choice than the brown sugar and butter. What can I say? I'm weak.
Thank you, Jim! It's a good alternative shave. However, I would never use Cremo when straight shaving because I probably would drop the razor due to the slickness. No, I am kidding! I prefer using the brush and soap method for straight shaves.
Here's some I did with pork porterhouse chops a while back. https://www.kamadoguru.com/topic/36426-mojo-pork-porterhouse-with-grilled-butternut-squash/
