If we're talking the last one I saw in theaters, the latest adaptation of Little Women (my aunt dragged me to it on Christmas). On DVD, Robocop (1987) director's cut. The two films I saw in theaters last year that I just loved were Shazam! and Joker, two outings from DC-Warner Bros. that went against the stale, shallow comic book movie formulas by creating sympathetic protagonists and actual threatening antagonists.
Mix '70s downer nihilism with '40s gumshoe noir and you get this. Technically competent and occasionally interesting -- a cast of deeply flawed characters to identify with in one way or another but not one to actually like. No one is completely "good" here but that was probably the point. Good music too.
