It's Stirling SEptember. Whatcha got planned??

    I have that same brush. It was my first. Unfortunately mine wasn't packed very densely and gets less dense with each use, it's a shedder.

    Very smooth to say the least. I like a razor that is a little more uh.... efficient. I will give it another go, but need to have time to work with it. The weekend is a good time.

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    RazoRock ECO
    Crown Super Stainless ½ (3)/ Gillette Nacet ½
    30DCLE (26mm, Frigate Class)
    Stirling 2019 Dirty South Shavers soap and AS

    Did a little experimenting with the ECO this morning. I started the shave with the stainless steel handle and the crown Super Stainless blade. It still had a bit of drag and hesitation so I switched out the blade for a fresh ½ Nacet. Much better! It cut through the whiskers without pause and made the razor feel much smoother. I also tried the Nacet with the SS handle but it didn't offer any improvements so I finished the shave with the aluminum handle. I'm really digging the scent of the Dirty South Shavers set, it smells so good! Anyway, three passes for an IBBS finish. Have a great day and weekend my friends!

    TGIF!! Wonderful shave and picture, Andrew! Once, when I was probably Declan's age, I was playing with the steering wheel and was able to pull the gear shift to reserve. The car just rolled backwards down the driveway and stopped against a tree. No damage. The car was off but I was able to move the gear down somehow. We lived way off the road, so it wasn't too dangerous. It's still one of my parents' favorite stories.

    It won't be long until he is actually sitting there for real. It seems only like yesterday that my daughter was his age, and now she is wanting me to teach her to drive so she is ready to take the test.
