My shaves with the Vector are so close and smooth, that I only need to shave every other day. That Schick Proline blade is amazing!

    Enjoy your shaves,

    Jeff

    Thanks Blair
I find that using the AS then slothering on the ASB works good for me. I'm a bay rum fan, the PAA has no clove, and thats a hit for me.

Great picture, Blair! PAA AS are As/Cologne, so they do last a bit.

Razor: Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip (A3) 1955
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword (5)
Brush: APShaveCo. Synthetic FAN w/ Elegant Emerald Handle - Extra Dense Shaving Brush - Cream/Brown - Imitation Badger.
Soap: Reef Point Soap Dragons Blood
    Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Capri
Bowl: Symmetrical Pottery Starry Night Dottie Bowl

Sticking with my collection of Gillette razors this month. They are as good today as when they where first made.
Today is Friday and I know how much the 2 Amigos love Friday, so I thought I'd take a Tres Amigo Friday shave. The fourth Amigo is everyone else at the shave den.
Fall is slowly approaching, the days are getting shorter, the nights a little longer. Trees are starting to change, some birds have already left for warmer climates.
This was an amazing BBS shave. I even had a second look at Dragons Blood. It is a solid shave soap, however, there is something about it that it is not in the buy again bracket.

I'm the opposite. Not the biggest fan of creams/lotions/balms in any shape or form (face/skin/sun/etc.).. I buy very sparingly, as most are way too thick/greasy for my tastes. The PAA Star Jelly, got a couple samples....found out it's close enough to perfect for me. Even when I find one I like, I apply very lightly first....then go big with the AS as it helps thin out the 'greasy' feeling.

    Never tried that.
I splash on rhe AS, then use a small amount of ASB mixed with water. I just use enough to cover everything I shaved, what's left over go on the elbows and arms. Seems the AS only last about 1/3 as long as the ASB.
So 3 bottles of AS vs 1 bottle of ASB.
