Joe, your comments about Cremo prompted me to check out the products in the shaving aisle today. I have used the Neutrogena brush less shave cream in my travel kit, and it performs adequately. I've also used the Nivea post-shave balm, and it's pretty good too. It nice to know you can grab some decent products locally. When you're traveling and need a quick/proper shave, a Trac II and brushless shave cream will most certainly do the job. It works for your carry-on bag too.
Out of curiosity, I took whiffs of some of the classic aftershaves. Some guys here use Aqua Velva Ice Blue and Brut, but I could not associate a scent with the brands. Once I completed the sniff tests, I realized they were indeed very familiar. I've used Stetson cologne in the past, and it was my favorite aftershave of the three. I didn't crack open an Old Spice bottle. I've used this in the past as well. I like the looks of the bottle better than the actual scent. It's a bit too spicy for me. Lastly, I always keep a container of the Afta electric pre-shave on hand. It has a decent "modern" scent, and it's a must have to avoid razor burn when I use my electric razor.
It was a fun way to spend a few minutes and stay out of trouble while my Bride searched for Euro Pillows. I learned a long time ago that it would not be a good idea for this old Kentucky boy to tag along with her and eventually question why we need Euro Pillows. Of course we need them!!!! At least she's not dragging me to Bead Shows like
@clint64. I got the look when she saw I wasn't with her, and she had to search for me, and then I told her about my aftershave experiment. Best I can tell, she ain't an Aqua Velva girl. What do you expect from someone who uses Euro Pillows?
Oh yeah, it looks like they got a load of Barbasol in just before the weekend.
