My wife encourages me to look at the shave supplies at Target . She likes this hobby.

Get two popsicle sticks, spray paint 'em gold, sandwich a blade between them on one end, and staple it all together. You got yourself a gold shavette for December. Although some gents like our very own @Edison Carter have come up with impressive designs, I don't think we've seen a gold one yet.

I have a few of them, they shave fine.
The trouble I've had is the twist stripps out, and the gates won't close anymore.
    But they shave just fine.

It's certainly less expensive than firearms, motorcycles, and watches. Well, maybe. ;)

Thank you for all the compliments guys . No, Jason the rock chimney was built in 1979. I did some pointing on it to repair the cement but I wasn't the builder.
Awesome reports to the other guys . 500 post behind today.

Cremo’s great stuff! They also make a sandalwood brush -friendly version in a standard soap tin.

    Enjoy your shaves,

    Jeff

I have a dopp kit ready to go. It's got what I need to clean up and shave. I put it together, then used it at home to make sure that I had everything I needed or wanted in it.
It's on the shelf, ready to go. I set it up to use at a hotel, friends house, or someplace like a hospital bathroom.

Here's todays report. Got a wonderful gift in the mail from Andrew @Linuxguile from his PIF. Was a hot day today and boy did the menthol ever feel good . My girlfriend loves the softness after a Stirling shave . I love the scent . He also included these blades which I've never seen before and they were amazing. To Andrew...Thank you again my friend. You made my day!

Thanks Patrick. Good to hear from you, and I hope you had another good construction day.

My Dad was a brick and stone mason. Growing up in the summers, I mixed a lot of mud, carried bricks, ran a masonry saw, and "faced" stone with a hammer and chisel. My Dad would occasionally let me lay some bricks, but I was not good at it. Several of my uncles were stone, block, brick, or rock masons. It's hard work, but it's a great trade to learn.

I've received more than a few goodies from Andrew myself. Very generous gentleman.
