Sept 21 Good morning guys! Gillette Redtip A4 Rockwell DE (3) Stirling Boar Brush Stirling Coconut Lime SS and AS Nivea Men's ASB (not pictured) Last shave in this 3 shave cycle with the Redtip. Facelathered without blooming that gave me a real slick and wettier than usual lather. Two and one-half passes produced an errorless BBS shave. Applied the matching AS and then the Nivea and I am good to go! My next razor for the next 3 shaves will be my 1959 Fatboy. Have a great Saturday fellas!
Welcome Saturday, and welcome all. SEptember has been great, using great razors that don't get the love they deserve. The SCS did not disappoint, a new Personna GEM blade, of course. 3 passes on the head and face made this shave on par with all wonderful works. Have a great day! Enjoy tp
My experience came as a tweener. I was at my grandparents' house and my grandfather asked me move his '69 Ford Bronco (which eventually became my first car). It was up a small hill, I put it in gear and slowly let the clutch out, the car started rolling down the hill, and I found out the difference between power brakes and old hydraulic drum brakes. The Bronco rolled down the hill towards their house and I barely got it stopped about 2 feet from making contact. My grandfather still laughs at that one. Of course, had I hit it, the reaction wouldn't have been quite as funny.
You should have mentioned you were short on rain earlier, Charlie. I would have sent Imelda your way.
Thank you Joe. I’m just glad we had a drop in the temperature for the weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
