The redacted Mueller Report This commentary is not political and does not take a side. The US media is bad at their jobs.
I've worked through a few books the past couple of months: And I'm still working through Shelby Foote's third volume of the Civil War:
Finished this one a while back: Finished Being Nixon by Evan Thomas yesterday. Starting America 1908 by Jim Rasenberger today.
Currently I am reading TSD, more specifically this thread. Prior to that, Professor Hawking's A Brief History of Time. I honestly can't recommend it enough. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Didn't care for this one: So I shelved it and moved on to Leadership in Turbulent Times by Doris Kearns Goodwin: Finished it and grabbed a short biography on Franklin Buchanan by Jean H. Baker: Finished it in a couple of days and moved on to Shakespeare: The Biography by Peter Ackroyd. It's VERY interesting so far, about 75 pages in.
It's been a while...... Finished this March 1: Then moved on to: Followed that with: This book was outstanding: Then sort of a strange, but interesting, detour: Worked on this one a few days but it didn't take: Now I'm concurrently reading two books on Churchill: And the magisterial final volume of The Last Lion series by William Manchester and Paul Reid: I enjoy reading and the quarantine gave me some extra time to tackle a few.
Currently reading “Open Season,” C.J. Box’s first novel in the Joe Picket series, about a Wyoming game warden.
Currently reading 2 books: Get the Right Things Done" by Peter Bregman. It's not just about planning your day rationally, it's more about setting the priorities right and also covers managing task priority. For the day, and for the whole life. Cache Lake Country: Or, Life in the North Woods by John J. Rowlands. A very fine memoir; my idea of a perfect summer read. I highly recommend it if you enjoy the outdoors.
