  1. Stirling SEptember!!!

    September 21

    Razor - Gem Micromatic Clog-Pruf
    Blade - CVS Carbon SE
Soap - Stirling Glastonbury small stupid sheep.jpg
Brush - 30DC Meet up LE
    Post - Alum

It's Sheep Saturday in Stirling SEptember! Super! Tonight's choice, Glastonbury. If you haven't tried this one I highly recommend it. The scents are Patchouli, Lavender, Oakmoss, Lichen, Frankincense, and Vetiver and Rod's description is a classic.
"...this soap will put you in the middle of a field with a soft, grassy breeze blowing while Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page engage in an epic guitar battle in the background." I couldn't have put it better myself. Seriously, while a couple of those scents may not be your favorite, the blend is pretty doggone awesome. I definitely pick out the Vetiver and the Patchouli doesn't overpower it. Bet you never thought you'd hear me give a review of the notes in a scent did you!

Clog-Pruf is up again with the carbon blade. Smooth and noisy, just the way I like it. With the 30 DC meet up brush the lather was overwhelming in volume. Loved it! Three slick passes for a no-blood finish with just a hint of alum burn. Calling it BBS because baby - it's smooth.

Today was supposed to be the start of the cool down. First day of Fall and we managed near 90 again. Yep. Life in the Lou never fails to stay interesting. Have a fantastic Sunday!

    Stirling SEptember

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. A bit of warmth from the alum.

First ever Schick shave with a razor generously given to me by Andrew @Linuxguile. It felt pretty natural in hand although smaller and lighter than what I would have expected from seeing them used in others SOTD photos. I'll be spending the next few days getting better acquainted with the razor. The alum was by no means hot but a little warmer than I'm used to.[IMG]
  13. All around awesome there Jim. The injectors give a great shave , great for travel too. Blades last a long time for me . Andrew sells them for a good price also.
