    Thank you, Joe! They are the only team from this part of the country in this league, so it is a bit odd. But it is a really fun league. We enjoy these games.

    Yeah i think the razor will just keep sitting on the shelf, i'll reach for my Parker if i want to shave with an open blade

    Looks like fun.

    I imagine difficult to get into.
    All custom equipment.
    Limited practice opportunities.

    Google up 'White Rose Hill Climbs' you may even be able to find footage reels from 1969.

    I imagine it would be very difficult to get into. My brother in law and nephew were in a vintage flat track race this weekend. My nephew was posting on social media all week as he prepared the bike.

    So, the first step is done. The sacrifical razor has been ordered. The next step is to see if I can strip the chrome and get a decent bright nickel plate over the existing nickel strike (the layer under the chrome).

    I know there is interest is using safe, low cost, and easily accessible materials and minimal speciality tools. So, I am back to researching DIY techniques. I'll also post in a new thread.
