right in there with the 102a. If y0u look at the profile of the 126, you can see the beginning of the evolution toward the NEW.

 

I don't even pick up Flare Tips to look at them in the wild. Common, plentiful, and I like more blade feel from my DEs. I still consider them to be a middle of the road razor and a solid intro for new shavers.

 

I acquired a couple by accident. I wouldn't even offer to them to my brother, I think he's better off with a modern Chinese razor like the Baili.

sorry they don't work for you..i prefer the rocket versions..

 

I consider Gillette TTOs mostly to be fiddly annoyances. Add unnecessary mildness and you have a perfect storm of no thanks for me . Too many other alternatives.

Middle Row: Oxford, New Low Price Set sold by the Winchester Store, Two Red & Blacks w/common bar handles. Front Row: New Tuckaway, #160 Goodwill, New SC on Colonial Brass Handle...........

OMG! That is absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen one like that before. I don't normally take to gold colored razors but that is stunning. Wow. I'm speechless.

You ought to post an image of it in The Gillette's Finest Thread.

 

Ever think of re-finishing that Bostonian and case in colors you'd like on them. If you do, I know someone that would like to re-line the case.

 

This is the beginning of hobby work!

 

15mm and 17mm Deluxes (hooked up to after-market handles). I have a Handle Acquisition Problem - if I didn't I would be hapless.
