This morning an incredibly pleasant shave with almost all gear components coming from presents: it was a way to thank my friends!

Decided to use the Arko cool cream since its been a while since ive used any of my creams. What a beautiful shave, very very good stuff, but for me the original shave stick is still the best Arko product ive tried so far.

Good question...
In the 70's I bought a Schick: do not remember where and do not know where it is after many moves.
At that time i was butchering my face every morning and thought a stiffer blade would have been better.

I found out not: same results I achieved with my Slim Adjustable (1 razor, 1 soap, 1 brush at that time ).
Years ago a friend gave me my first PAL, but was not love at first shave.
Tried various blades and, lately, and the Ted Pella were better than the other even if light years away from DE's and suitable blades.

Now another friend game me this one: the blades that came with it were as smooth as a a tiling spatula but things turned far better when changed it with the Personna.
But... I still prefer my DE's: almost any of them!
But a sort of affection is born with the SE's, so... I keep trying!
