  1. I thought the graph think was great. It helps you have a visual limit and rings a visual bell when you begin to bump the curve. I use my phone to track my weight. It is a Samsung and the health app is excellent.
I have drastically cut down on dairy and wheat. I am trying to cut down on chocolate, beer and crisps and of those 3, the crisps is the big one for me. I am not a big beer drinker (at most, a handful of bottles at the weekend) and chocolate is actually not too bad, its the chocolate based bars which are killers.

For exercise, i cycle to work. ( 10 miles per day) and this has had a huge effect. I am no Chad (google it) but i manage ok.
I have lost 2 stone since xmas. My resting heart rate has gone from mid 70's to high 50's.

I have hit a wall though. I am still overweight and would love to lose another stone but this seems to be a challenge. At the moment, i put on the weekend what i lose through the week lol.
I don't beat myself up for failing, its when i don't try that i knock myself and rightly so. I have a responsibility to myself and my family to help myself stay healthy.

Today i am 190lbs. My target is 175.
I think i will add my current weight as i go on to my sig. Nothing like a punch in the face every morning to keep you on your toes! :)

Onwards and upwards we (both) shall go :)

  12. Nice shave Joseph. Love the Dovo and all the gear.

I'm anticipating answers of a slightly rolled edge/burr area to work through if the grit feeling is only on one side of the blade. Or, there actually is some 'no see um' grit getting moved around. When I run into this, I rinse the stone, and lightly go over it with a flattening stone, then continue after creating another slurry. HTH.
  13. You know the solution to your unwanted belly growth. It is more output, than input. At 61, I was in Obese Category 1, and at 64, I am slightly overweight. I work out six days a week and at times 2x in one day. I never went to the gym after high school and up to age 61. You can do it. These pics are when I was at my heaviest. I am at low 170's. 11731778_10205770609278467_8557737095158428249_o.jpg 21430559_1237976566307034_3051569332465583027_n.jpg

Decided to use the Arko cool cream since its been a while since ive used any of my creams. What a beautiful shave, very very good stuff, but for me the original shave stick is still the best Arko product ive tried so far.

    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave
