Here is a Russian Rat Razor. Dont let the looks fool you, It will shave as well as the best razor I have. Extremely sharp, and smooth. Most Russian razors arent for looks, but almost all can shave extremely well. I had a fine 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Also, the soap I used isnt very expensive, but is very rich, lathers easily, very slick, and overall, a great soap. Pleasant scent too. The Avon Spicy aftershave, is one of my favorites. It is Avons version of Shulton Old Spice, just less powdery, and more spicy. Razor- Russian. "EKSTRA" ZTV 1956 Brush- Omega 10098 Boar Soap- Turkish "More For You". Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Hitching Post decanter.
Jamie That's a beautiful set up you got there thanks for posting the photo's. Hey has anyone seen or heard from @oscar11 ?
6/8” Hart by “JA” James Arman Sold as never used... quick look at the edge and I thought I could get by with some CrOx and a bit of stropping. Worked like a champ. And who knows, maybe the Lacewood scales will grow on me?!?!? Enjoy your shave. Tom
Stirling Straight Single edge September rolls on with another PiacenzDay Wednesday. Stirling Piacenza soap thoroughly blessed by the Great Blue Ming. Whipped into a frenzy with the Stirling Tuxedo (what an awesome brush for $13) 2nd shave after coming into its own on the convex Belgian Coticule, the Chinese ZY Wonkmaster. Piacenza Aftershave. Piacenza bath soap, shampoo bar, deodorant, and EdT couldn't hang for the photoshoot but send their regards.

Joseph Rodgers frameback now in ivory, finished up last night on ‘ol’ ugly’ but there’s nothing ugly about the edge it makes. Especially when that edge is paired with SMN lathered with a TOBS brush and topped off with some Agua Balsamica. And I’m at shave #32 on the Filly 14 Sub Cero edge longevity test, and it’s still very strong - a very close and smooth shaving edge even at 32.
