    No brush-burn. I was "scraping" not "slicing". Newbies, like I was, most often blame the product first. I was no different. There is very little that bothers my skin. Cinnamon is about the only "ingredient" I had identified, which lights my face up. Krampert's Bay Rum, Catie's Bubbles: Le Piment de la Vie, are two examples.

    I'm up bright and early today so I can have an early lunch, then head over to the Senior Center for it's 2nd Anniversary celebration. My shave was fine. Somehow I'm back in the habit of going south-to-north with my neck, at first, but then I make sure to go north-south just afterwards, to get anything I missed.As it gets chillier, I'm, going to get a regular Gillette Foamy(the red can)and get to a decision of which works best for my skin, Gillette or Barbasol. I always appear to get nice shaves with Gillette, but if I do choose the Big G, I'll keep the Barbasol can around in this, its Century Year.

    The red can is just the regular-no menthol in it....I'll keep the menthol to finish up next summer.

    Already had a busy morning before I even leave the house. Logged in remotely to take care of a client payroll and accounts payable. The GD Fortis soap was easy to load and lather. Three passes and touch ups ended in another drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    Ah. understood. No menthol in winter.

    I liked Palmolive gel when i used to use canned goo.
