  3. Wonderful B&W photo Jim. Sixteen shaves on 1 blade is very good. Good luck with the move. I know that can be very stressful.

Found a little bit left of a Stirling Sample I had. Thought I’d better bring it out for Stirling SEptember. Took it to the bowl, got a very nice lather and had 3 uneventful passes. Barbershop is ok for me, but I did trade the splash away. Finishing with CL was, as usual, a good idea.
One SE razor left for the last few shaves of the month.
    Have a great day all!

  15. Good TGIF morning, although my Friday doesn't end till about 1am Saturday, it's still a great day. Good morning to everyone.
Early morning shave, late morning report.
Using my newly aquried Razorock GEO, I haven't changed soap or after shave, while trying out different blades in this tool.
This morning's blade set, Kai stainless.

Now I need to put this shave into perspective. Yesterday I mowed part of what I call 'the field' and it was very dry. Looked and blew grass around like I was mowing dust. I had grass in my jeans, down the shirt, seemed everywhere. Woke up itching and my eyes were about glued shut, if ya know what I mean. This also breaks me out some, even with meds to alleviate it. So my skin is extra sensitive, itchy, bumpy and tender today.

Now using the same parifinalya as yesterday's shave, except I broke a Kai blade for the job. First pass was good, no issues and avoided capping the small bumps that appeared over night. It was slightly rougher than yesterday, but my skin is tender. Second pass I installed the other half of that blade. Still less comfortable than yesterday, I got one bump on the face, one on the chin, and one far down on the neck. No real bleeding, just a scrape over the top, you can only be so careful. The tiny ones are hard to go over without trimming the tops out.
The head shave was about the same, using the second half blade for the first pass, and the first half blade for the second pass. About the same comfort level but the bumps were left un harmed.
Not sure if my skin was just NOT in the mood for a shave, or the Kai blades were the cause just yet. I have my suspicions my skin was the issue, it normally is on days like this.

Ok enough of that, a splash of LT and I'm ready for the day. My skin feels as good as it's gona, after the AS it feels better somewhat.
    Nice
    to all
    Enjoy

  19. I half expected it .
No way to avoid it really, untill it rains again.
    Thanks Clint.

It will clear up in about a day or two, shaving actually helps.
Certain things just happen, to me anyways, this is one of them.
Toss in the 'no biggie' pile.
    Thanks Jim
