  7. This is only maybe the 2nd time of missing 3 days since I took up wetshaving...... I hang my head in shame.....

    As you should, shame, shame....

The recovery was one of those shaves that reminds you WHY you do this.

    All forgiven.
Good that your back on the wagon.

One look at the volume of super suds generated and seasoned bloomaphobes are tearing their clothes and throwing dirt in the air. The children and grandchildren of dry soapers are trembling with fear....... Yea, anyhow...... nice lather!

All bow down to the great latherer!
Non bloomers repent your evil ways....

  13. I went pheasant hunting this morning (if you can call shooting farmed pheasants hunting). I was the only one in our group who got up early to shave. I'm pretty sure I was the only one to bath at all.

I was also the only one who got skunked. 5 last year 0 this year... Maybe getting my scented soaps on right before hunting isn't such a good idea.

  14. Thanks Terry! When I'd just joined TSD Tom was still in the design phase on The Bunny. The Pass Around was something I never could have imagined just months before. Guess I was enough of a cheerleader that he liked my posts. I have refereed to the one I have as a V2.1 because it was a slight manufacturing defect - the handle is slimmer and shorter than the "production" units. I'm still happy to use it and can't imagine anything that would tempt me to trade it away.
I haven't looked in on it since my shave six hours ago. Now you got me curious...
I didn't stick to a Stirling Focus this month Jason. Since I shave every other day I'm going to shoot for a Rule in October. Do these shaves count so I can slip in an alternative soap sometime next month? Then yes!

  20. Every once in a while the Game Commission 'stocks' in one or two of these 'yard birds'. They just stand around in the side of the road.

The turkeys they stock quickly readjust back to nature.

And they say turkeys are stupid. Hmph
