Coates went out of production years ago? There was a guy that had quite the stock of them for sale. Good product - got a link? So you bought two sticks of ARKO?I was PIFed a stick in 2016, still have most of it. Got two more myself on a recent Connaught order for PIFs. That soap will spontaneously lather with a light breeze on a humid day. Good stuff!
Yesterday I received a package from PAA. I will break in the new stuff this weekend. The Solar Flare brush looks so nice in person and I can't wait to try it. I also picked up a frog deco blade bank for my son. He wanted a blade bank and I think the frog is the nicest I've seen. Steve

Thanks for the links Tom @Tommynick ! We are here to discuss & share about Wet Shaving. Linking to suppliers is good stuff. One of the few restrictions is open auctions. Those two websites are good resources. It's all good John. I don't believe in "too much information" except in certain very narrow circumstances.
Saturday mail call is a 1938-39 Gillette Senator razor. This was the last model of Gillette's first generation of twist to open razors. It's in excellent condition for its age.
My pleasure. I just want to thank you all for my enjoying wet shaving again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mail Call from my friend Dave! All this along with a BUNCH of blades I’m super excited to try out ! Look at it all! A 1969 Gillette black beauty, a horse hair brush, a bunch of great artisan samples and the Proraso post shave I always wanted to try ! I can’t comprehend how happy I am right now!!! Have a great day gentlemen!!!
In my little town, you have a choice, go to Wally World and get canned gunk or Cremo and what other factory made stuff or find a tiny little boutique that sells girly stuff with a young woman and her husband as owners. Well, the husband wanted some manly stuff and this is what they decided to try first. I don't know much about Long Rifle Soap Co. and they didn't have a large selection with just starting to see if shave stuff would sell. I smelled the 1776 and bought the soap on the spot. I got about half way home and could still smell it on my hands so I turned around and went back and got the 1776 ASB and Hunting Lodge soap. They didn't have any ASB for the latter though. Between my trips in, her and her husband were talking and wanted to know what other brand of soaps and what have you I thought they should try. I mentioned Stirling and she laughed and said her husband was already working on that. Fingers crossed on my part because I'd rather pay a young couple in my town trying to make a go at a shop than ordering online. Any way, long story short, this stuff smells amazing and from the little I messed with the soap, its slick as whale...... well, it's slick.
