Thank you Perry. I hope you got to enjoy the day at the lake. Good luck this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am the same. Handle weight doesn't matter except for my personal preference, which does happen to favor razors of the hefty variety.
Depends on who you talk to... Gentleman can be overpowering, yes. Perhaps the strongest scent I have off the puck.
Oct 7 - Menthal Monday Razor: Gillette Ball End SC Blade: Permasharp (2) Brush: Razorock Plisoft Barber 24 PS: Proraso Soap: Stirling MITA AS: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus First shave with this razor that I have had for a couple months. Nice shave. As with most razors of its kind the handle is cracked and I won't use it often. I certainly notice that the vintage OC razors are more aggressive than my Merkur 25C. Of course R41 tops them all but it seems the market favored a more aggressive shave back in the day. Anyone else notice this? Part of me wants to believe that modern manufacturing produces sharper blades and razors where more aggressive to compensate, but that's just a guess.
A superb shave report and photo Joseph. You surpassed your usual high standards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He was typecast to play gangsters. Against type, he played George M Cohan as the lead in Yankee Doodle Dandy. He also was a great hoofer.
October 7 SOTD: Razor: PAA Ascension SS Blade: Personna Blue Brush: PAA The Green Ray Lather: PAA Supreme Sandalwood Science Aftershave: PAA Supreme Sandalwood Science It was a quick shave as I was off the work after a few days off. Two passes and DFS with what may be my favorite sandalwood scent. A nice splash of the matching AS finished up a great start to my day. I hope everyone has a great day!
No need to for anyone to apologize at all. I just wanted the 30 day thread to remain a place to come and enjoy each other’s company and leave the drama of the real world behind. Thank you for all that you do Rick. I realize your duties are thankless at times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
