    Thank you Jason. I did forget to use the Thater boar. I was up pretty much all night so it slipped my mind this morning. I will use the Thäter boar for a run before the end of the month.

    As I've said many, many, many times - there is no such thing as "enabling" or "enablers" or "those who enable". There is simply the desire to share what works and then to encourage everyone to use those things. HUGE difference.......don't you think? :innocent

    I think you can get a better shave with straights. I think what gets shavers is the neck area, especially the Adam's apple. Also, mapping the beard incorrectly or not going ATG because the shaver can't or refuse to manipulate the razor to do so. I had a hard time getting a real BBS shave in the beginning because I didn't know how to attack my jawline ATG. I saw how Eric Latta did it on Adventures in Wetshaving and a light bulb went on. The problem was that I had to turn the blade upside down perpendicular to the floor to get my jawline smooth because my beard grows toward my ears. Anyway, FWIW, you might want to consider tweaking how you shave with your straight to get your shave at least on par with your shavette. You know what your doing Bill, I am just giving a different slant.
