    Too many SOTD photos, not enough spare brain cells - is that an original knot in a vintage handle Ken? It shows the couple of darker bristles like an Omega Pro #10098 knot. Good details when zoomed in. The tips aren't fuzzy like it's a fresh knot hardly broken in. You might fit it with an O-ring or three to increase the backbone.

    I am enjoying the Black Pearl so much I may use it all week, or all month. Monster at face lathering and silky smooth on the skin. Fits my hand so good you'd almost swear I made it to fit me .;)
