Hmmm......very interesting. @clint64 is a big proponent of the One Blade razor. I think @Boojum1 is as well. Just saw a link where the One Blade Core is on sale for $19.95. Comes with Feather blades as well. Seems like a really good deal. Check it out.
Terrific picture and great report, Perry! Thanks! "Hydrate the top of the soap." I like it! I don't normally use the Fat more than once a week and usually not that often. Between uses the soap starts suffering from shrinkage pulling away from the sides of the container. I pre-hydrate in hope that the puck doesn't free itself from the container between uses. It also makes for a quick easy load. Thanks, Daniel!
