    Thank you Jim. I thought the razor shaved very rough with the sharp teeth. I am glad it really worked and turned it to a very smooth shaver.

    Bill, I am glad that you tried the Latta move once again! It is true that it is difficult to see the stroke. However, I have my face turned away from the mirror so that I can get a better view of the stroke. I have been doing this move for awhile that my muscle memory makes it easier to use these strokes. I use short, deliberate strokes when I shave and more so when using the Latta method. I would encourage you to keep doing the Latta method because you will improve your muscle memory that will make it a snap. Good luck! Also, that is very nice of you to do that for Patrick!

    Guys, I'm still hanging in there and I miss y'all a bunch. I thought things were going to settle down and I could get back on the band wagon so to speak but dad passed away yesterday morning. He passed 16 days after mom and they were married for 62 years. Please keep us in your prayers and I'll be back soon.

    Oh yeah, is Charlie @wristwatchb behaving? Never mind......don't answer that one.

    MWF~~Rubberset~~Mühle~~Light Brigade~~Clubman
    Back in the saddle after a 48 hour hiatus. I was AT work at 5:30am yesterday and left at 6:15pm.
    While I was unable to muster a shave, I was completely successful pouring 4 fingers of Jim Beam after work.

    Today I got my shave on and have now used EDDEIO. I coupled the 2011 Mühle R41 with a brand new,
    Wilkinson Light Brigade. I had been hoarding this for quite a while, but recently acquired 20 new ones,
    so, I splurged this morning.
    I can get almost 30 shaves from these blades, so 20 x 30, equalling 600, if I have done my ciphering correctly

    should be almost two years of shaves!
    The MWF is starting to look like it has been used 8 times this month. I tore into it with the Rubberset
    and loaded for bear. The lather was wonderful; still retaining a hint of the Captain Black/Vanilla infusion.
    Even with one of the smoothest blades in existence, you can really feel the edge with the R41.
    So, not letting my guard down; maintaining a light tough and a "ride the cap" angle,
    I was able to get three passes in without any bloodshed.
