Thank you Joseph. I have decided to keep the bowl out next to my sink. I will fill the bowl with a soap I want to finish and then use it 2 or 3 times a week until its gone. Then repeat with the next soap.
SOTD 10/9/19 Another great shave! I find myself turning to my Blackland Vector practically every day. It is without doubt my best dome shaver and delivers a great face shave as well! I enjoy using the other razors in my collection, with the exception of my father’s Slim Adjustable and my grandfather’s Old Type. I’ve never shaved with either. I don't own the Original, but would pick one up for the right price. Life is a learning process. The smart folks learn from their mistakes. The wise one's from the mistakes of others. If I did release all the sheep goodness I'll look into procuring a supply of lanolin, grate the puck, and see if I can repair the damage. Mitchell's Super Fat? Fortunately the (Kent) refill puck are reasonably priced.
