Oct 9th Proraso PS Red MWF Boar Gillette Single Ring Gillette Silver Blue Pinaud Clubman Vanilla AS 2.5 pass DFS. Fun shave today. The SR is from 1921. It has some pitting in the handle knurling, but light tarnish in other areas. Should clean up nice. The boar brush has no name/markings on it, has a ceramic handle. Both the Single Ring and brush are a couple of my takes from the 3rd round of the 2019 traveling box tour. The SR is the last vintage DE razor I wanted, bringing me to an astounding total of 3 (SR, 1.95, Slim). MWF and the boar performed very nicely, slick and smooth, letting the SR complete it's job with finesse and ease. Today's shave completely matches what I do with straights or kamisoris, just a smidgeon left on the table for the right jaw/neck line. Still need to work on that swipe/skin stretch/technique! Followed up with PC Vanilla AS, a light easy aroma. Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

The R41 "Face changer" with a WS blade? Phew! that's really sticking your head in the dragons mouth! Well done on keeping it tame . A beautiful brush to boot and i like the Boar knot in it. It is a good match for the classic handle. Lovely shave as ever.
