Good Thursday good morning.
Got out a nice razor from Czechoslovakia believe it or not, one of my aluminum Soluna OC's. Loaded a Feather blade whipped up some nice fat to do the morning chore. Knowing how the lather went yesterday, I decided to try it out on a more traditional brush. Starting with an unsoaked dry badger brush, I dipped the tip in water and proceeded to load my brush. I dipped it about 3 times to get it loaded to my satisfaction, then built the lather on my skin as normal. Wow, no blooming of the soap, no soaking the brush, rewarded with nice rich, slick lather. This is making me rethink everthing I've read about the subject.
A 2 pass shave using one side of the blade for one pass, the other side for the second pass on the mug. I used that blade to do the head shave. Learned I could do this from using my RR Starling and get by with one blade per shave. The last pass was slightly rough, but no pulling or tugging. This means I can get a years shaves from 400 blades.
Nice!

I can see that some are having a bit of rough time from life. Been there or am there! I know how tough it can be to go through it all to get to the other side of it.
It will get better, it just doesn't seem that way from the way it seems and feels. Good luck, I keep remembering how life tried to beat me up, I trudged on to better times.
All
Enjoy
