  8. Just used the black beauty today for the first time on settings 7-6-3 and got one little knick but a BBS none the less with only a micro stupple left right on my jaw line close to my ear like always! Very good shaver for being a 1969!!! Going to use the 1957 SS or tech tomarrow! And I used a Dorko Prime for the first time and it’s a good blade . I hated the other dorko’s

  9. Platinum Soap Puck.jpg

After enjoying a first shave with a "hand-me-down" puck of Platinum, it warranted the purchase of a puck. The used puck will soon become a shave stick!

  13. Went antique shopping with my wife today. Found this JS Holler & Co Adolph Blaich straight razor for $20. No it didn't look this good at the store but some time on the polishing wheel and it looks amazing.

  14. Normally I don't buy or use vintage blades but these particular ones are pretty unique far as I know.
    schickbladesa.jpg schickbladesb.jpg

I don't know why these never did catch on, if it was due to a poor design or what not else but when I say this NOS pack come up for sale my curiosity got the better of me.

  15. Hmm... Can't say I've ever seen those before. I have their vintage twin injector blades and love 'em. How do they shave?? Something else to look out for

  16. interesting..cool score..
  17. I see them come up every so often, but I think they fill in quick between the blades with beard hair and hard to rinse off. Will wait to see how your shaves go with them.

  18. The twin injector blades are like that for me. Not really hard to rinse but must do it more often.
  19. I don't know yet. These blades I know they made them sometime mid 70s but they only made them for like 2 or 3 years then they stopped making them or only continued to make them outside the US like their twin injector blades which disappeared around the same time. The only reason I even knew of these blades is the amount of newspapers and other print ads I've looked through researching injector razors.
