An excellent shave this morning. Love the EVO DOC. Good technique, a bit of patience and it delivers a fantastic shave every time. Looks vicious and intimidating but, once tamed it’s as good as it gets, a puddy tat really. Out to breakfast with the Queen of the Castle. Great day and shaves to all.....

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Rapira day 7
    Proraso White SS
    Prep ASB
    Obsession for Men EdT

The Proraso White to me is the best soap from that company’s different scent lines - it smells so nice, it has great lather, and it’s got enough of a menthol sensation to be felt along with excellent skincare. The Prep felt wonderful when I massaged it on. This Rapira blade is now retired after a week of faithful service and fantastic shaves!

    Lavanille Sunday
Excellent scent, but a failed experiment. The lather was great, so I tried to go ATG on my neck and paid for it with some weepers and burn. I should know better by now.

It's been some time since I last posted. I've let my whiskers grow out so I'm pretty much just trimming my cheeks and neck every day. If you folks thought shaving gear and software choices are overwhelming, check out the stuff you "must" have if tending to a beard! Oh yeah, I bit on some oils and conditioners and a brush...but that's it I tell ya. Unless I come upon a deal for beard wash, beard balm or beard wax that is.

Anyway, here's a pic of my two month growth.

And as a historical note. On this day in 1960, I was an 11 year old boy sitting in the stands at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh with my dad. It was the 7th game of the World Series between the Pirates and Yankees. Mazeroski drilled a 9th inning walk-off homer to win the game and the series. Still gives me chills! Still have the program. Hard to believe it was 59 years ago.
